Priced before they start
You describe the job, a tradesperson quotes for it, and you accept the quote before anyone begins. The alternative — the one everybody has experienced — is a number that appears when the work is already done and the taps are still off.
Rated by people who actually used them
A rating only exists after a job the platform can see was completed and paid for. It cannot be bought, and it cannot be left by somebody who never hired anyone.
Questions about home repairs and handyman services
How are tradespeople vetted?
They are onboarded as vendors, with identity and contact details verified before they can accept work, and they carry a rating built only from jobs completed through the platform.
What if the work is not done properly?
The job, the quote and the payment are all recorded in the app, so there is a record to raise with support rather than a phone number that stops answering.
Do you do gas fitting?
Gas delivery and gas fitting are different trades. Riders deliver and connect standard domestic cylinders; alterations to pipework or fixed installations need a qualified gas fitter.
