Food delivery pays for two short peaks and leaves the hours between them empty. A rider carrying gas, groceries, parcels and food has work across the whole day.
What the job is
- Collect from a vendor, deliver to a customer, in the same city
- Gas cylinders, shopping, restaurant orders, parcels and errands
- Jobs offered with the pay shown before you accept
- On and off duty when you choose
- Paid per delivery on the market’s distance bands
- No cash to carry — the customer has already paid in the app
Why no cash matters
Orders are paid before collection, so a rider is never carrying takings around a city. That removes the part of the job that makes riders a target, and it removes the arguments at the door about change and about what was agreed.
What we ask
A motorcycle you are licensed and insured to ride, documents we can verify, a smartphone that runs the rider app, and identity verification. Carrying gas requires a safety briefing first — how to secure a cylinder upright, what to check before handover, and what you must not do. A rider connects a standard domestic cylinder and does not touch pipework or appliances.

What do I need to ride for Patride?
A motorcycle you are licensed to ride, valid documents, a smartphone, and verified identity. Gas deliveries need a short safety briefing before you can accept them.
How is pay calculated?
Per delivery, on the distance bands the market uses, so a longer trip pays more. What a job pays is shown before you accept it.
Do I choose my own hours?
Yes. You go on and off duty in the rider app, and you accept or decline each job.
Is my location tracked all the time?
Only while you are on duty, and the trace is deleted after 30 days. Off duty, the app is not following you — the privacy policy states this as a retention period, not a promise.
Do I have to carry gas cylinders?
Not unless you take the briefing and choose to. Riders who do not carry gas still get grocery, food, parcel and errand jobs from the same queue.
