About Patride
Patride puts your city live in one app. Customers walk a shared map of their neighbourhood, where other people out at the same time appear as anonymous walkers beside local shops and public places. Every neighbourhood has its own chat room, where neighbours recommend shops, make friends and play games against each other while the room watches: boxing, street races, penalties, Ayo, Dice Ladder, Monster Raid and City Rush, a driving game set on Lagos streets.
The shops on the map and in the rooms are the shops people order from. Food, groceries, water, cooking gas and beauty are delivered by one network of riders, each followed live on the map. Shops keep their own price; Patride’s margin is shown to the customer.

Founder

Ahmed Tunde Ahmed is the founder and CEO of Patride. He is a software engineer whose career spans banking, payments and education technology in Africa and Europe, from systems trusted by commercial banks to leading engineering teams. He built Patride the way banking software is built: around what happens when a payment half-completes or the network drops, the part customers never see and the part that decides whether they come back.
